  • The safety of your children is critical to us!  Please review and follow these guidelines for morning drop off and afternoon dismissal procedures.

 We ask that you adhere to these policies and remind your children to follow them as well.  Our teachers also will be reviewing these policies with students.  Your cooperation is much appreciated!

Transportation Guidelines

 

  • Please complete the online PTA Back to School forms by September 15th!

  • Hard copies of the Friday Focus will be sent home through the month of September.  Beginning in October, the Friday Focus will only be sent electronically.  If you would like a hard copy, please email Shirley Labiosa.

  • Please review our birthday guidelines prior to celebrating at school!

SHS 2015 Cheer Clinic

Interested in cheerleading?  Registration is now open for the 2015 SHS Cheer Clinic.  Learn sideline cheers, chants, motions, jumps and spiriting at our annual clinic to be held on Saturday, September 19th, and lead by the National Champion SHS Cheerleaders.  Registration fee includes a t-shirt and special edition bow.   All participants will be able to cheer on the Spartans before the Homecoming Game on Friday, October 2nd.

SBISD Community Education

SBISD Community Education offers over 100 courses mostly to individuals who are 16 and over.  The Dance Program offers different types of dance for 3 year olds to teen-adults as well as adults in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Zumba, Yoga, Flamenco, Ballroom, Country Western, and Salsa.  You may walk in and start a class anytime during the session.  Registration starts this Saturday, Aug. 29th from 9:00 AM to noon.

Community Education also has a variety of classes, some of which are ESL, Languages (Spanish, etc.), Computer, GED Prep, Sewing, Art, Cake Decorating, Guitar, Interior Decorating, Floral Arrangement, etc.  Driver’s Education and Motorcycle Safety are also offered.

 Most courses offer a payment plan during each semester.
