Meadow Wood Elementary

Meadow Wood Elementary strives to be a school where children feel happy, successful and secure.  Our hope is every child will rise each day eager and excited to come to our school because they will be engaged in challenging and purposeful curriculum.  Our staff will feel this same excitement as they demonstrate to students that they, too, are learners. The staff will foster an environment that produces self-determining learners through active participation, exploration and discovery.

Parents, community and staff will regard Meadow Wood Elementary as a community of learners.  Together we will work cooperatively and collaboratively to deliver a quality educational program that meets the needs of each learner.  

While pursuing a rigorous, academic focus in a safe, risk-free environment, we will strive for each child to acquire the skills, knowledge and values necessary to meet the challenges of a changing world.  We will provide opportunities for each child to experience the enrichment of fine arts. We will encourage each child to think ahead to life after graduation.

Every child will be accepted and appreciated for being a unique individual.  Children will be treated with respect and dignity, succeeding in an environment where adults act as role models.
