Spring Branch ISD (SBISD) is pleased to announce that Veronique Hunter, a dedicated educator at Meadow Wood Elementary (MWE), is the December recipient of the Teachers Driving Success Award.

Sponsored by Group 1 Automotive and Advantage BMW, the award honors teachers who go above and beyond to inspire student achievement and create meaningful educational experiences. Hunter was presented with a $300 gift card and a gift basket during  a surprise presentation on Wednesday, December 11, 2024.

Hunter’s impact at MWE was highlighted by Principal Lynne Barry.

“Ms. Hunter is passionate about her subjects and works diligently to ensure her students master the content,” Barry said. “She is an excellent communicator, setting clear and consistent expectations for her students. Her infectious laugh and boisterous spirit bring energy to the classroom and make learning a joyful experience. Veronique is a true asset to Meadow Wood Elementary, and she plays a significant role in making our school a better place.”
